How Do I Grow in My Emotional Awareness and Why Is That Important?

The first step towards emotional health is being able to name our feelings, along with their origins. The next step is identifying the narratives that we attach to those emotions so that we are able to make mature choices and live out of our values not our wounds or harmful social, cultural or political scripts. For some of us this is easier said than done, so the Feelings Wheel along with our discussion questions and modeling helps us to put more precise words to what is happening inside. The goal of our time together is to better know God, ourselves and others well and more fully. We will also offer concrete training so that you attendees are able to lead others in similar work.
