I have been fundraising full-time for almost 20 years. And the entire time, I have worked hard for those who support this work to be seen as partners in the work, not just donors to it. This is because money is a tool and people are our co-laborers in the work. If we keep that perspective our work will be doubly beneficial, mutually transformative, and perpetually joyful.
