THE CENTER FOR BEAUTY AND RESISTANCE
The Center for Beauty and Resistance exists to nurture the growth of whole people and fruitful communities that receive and reflect the kingdom of God. Our mission is to educate and equip our communities to receive and reflect the kingdom of God with contextualized integrity at every level – individual, intimate, interpersonal, institutional, and ideological. Our values – preached and practiced – are expressed in the following activities: B&R Workshops, EASE Bible Studies, prayer meetings, cohort-based trainings.
bEAUTY AND RESISTANCE WORKSHOPS
One hour to full-day intensives to study, engage, and reflect on the core components of living a life of Beauty & Resistance.
ease bible studies
A guided reading and inductive study of the Bible to equip attendees to be Emotionally Aware and Systemically Engaged.
prayer meetings
A facilitated time of gratitude and petition for ourselves, each other, and our community, anchored in the Teach Us How To Pray curriculum.
