Leaders at the intersection and faith, justice and emotional health are gathering for a retreat to learn, grow and seek to live out of their deepest values, not their deepest wounds. It is my privilege alongside folks from Little Lights, Step DC, DC Unity and Justice, the Racial Reconciliation Group and others to pray, reflect and respond to the reality that our emotional health and spiritual maturity are inextricably linked; and that we must interrogate the patterns of our families of origin and cultural narratives to discern how God might be calling us to respond.
